Halloween night

Dark but light

Kids and adults

But black isn't black

And white isn't white

Though the night seems normal

To that normal eye

The one who sees silver

Has the true candy

And the all seeing eye

It may seem glum

After the night

But that's seeing black

And not that sweet silver

When the eye begins to open

And starts to see silver

There isn't just black

And there isn't just white

The earlier the silver

The more the reward

For the old find the silver

And the young find the gold
